Taekwondo Club

Asian University is very proud to inform you of their new Taekwondo club which was started a few months ago. Under the expert instruction of Mr Kiatikun Kiatpechara, a.k.a Pun-Pun, first year BBA student the club recently had the honour of conducting the first official grading of ten of our club members. This grading was conducted, on campus, by a qualified examiner from the World Taekwondo Oganisation based in Bangkok. Thanks to the first class instruction of Mr Pun-Pun,, all ten of our students who were graded passed from level one to level two of their yellow belt (first belt). In addition the student's grades were exceptionally good with grades from a C to A+, so again, thanks to the dedication and expert instruction from Pun-Pun.The club has around fifteen members and trains twice a week. We look forward to further developments and some inter-university competitions in the near future.

University Games Wrap

We went, we saw, we challenged and we gained many valuable experiences. It was a terrific week of sports which gave us an opportunity to sharpen our skills against some of the best players at Thailand's national team level. We were very proud to actively participate in Basketball, Football and Petangue. It also was a great opportunity to bond together and showcase the university and strengthen our realationships with each other, at the same time making new friends with students from a wide range of backgrounds and academic persuits. All in all, a very rewarding week of fun for all concerned. We are looking forward to the second round in January 2007
